Fort Townsend Trail Run/Walk

4 mile trail run/walk

Old Fort Townsend State Park

Course Description
The start/finish is on the lower field, overlooking Port Townsend Bay. The course is almost entirely on trails, with rolling hills through a scenic evergreen forest. A water station is located at the halfway point of the course.

Day of Race Schedule
7:30 a.m. registration
9:00 a.m. start of race
10:30 a.m. awards ceremony

Pre-registered (postmarked by Mon., Aug. 31): $10.00 adults, $5 16 & under
Day of Race: $15.00 adults, $10 16 & under

Directions
From out of town: Follow signs to Port Townsend. Old Fort Townsend Road is located almost 1/2 mile past the junction of SR19 and SR20. Look for signs to Old Fort Townsend State Park. Turn right and follow the main road all the way into the park.
From Port Townsend: Follow SR20 west. About 1.3 miles past the city limits stop light, look for signs to Old Fort Townsend State Park. Turn left and follow the main road all the way into the park.

Benefiting
Proceeds of this year's race will be benefiting the Jefferson Trails Coalition and the Friends of Old Fort Townsend.
