Welcome to PT Running online. Conceived on a muddy trail somewhere
on the outskirts of Port
Townsend proper, our goal is to link runners with other runners,
providing them opportunities to train, race, and socialize together.
We believe running can have a positive impact on individuals
as well as the greater community. Hence our efforts to bring
peninsula runners together.
:: Get
set for the 30th annual Rhody Run!
Have you registered
yet? Our own Jeni Little
heads up this year's edition, which as usual will start and finish
at scenic and storied Fort Worden. The race, one of the longest
running traditions in the state, is set for Sunday, May 18. Interested
in volunteering? Contact race officials here.
:: Dust
off your trail shoes and/or spikes for PTXC!
:: Join
us for our weekly training run!
Sunday, 7:30
a.m. Meet inside the
entrance to the new commons building at Fort Worden State Park.
Sunday for most of us means a looooooong run at a sociable pace.
Some folks run an hour; others go much further. We often meet
again afterward for coffee and breakfast (preferably something
fattening!).
